Procore Technologies Inc. is adding to the Financials Management portfolio within its construction management software by adding new tools to better forecast costs and improve financial reporting.

“Construction projects’ scope and schedules need to connect to cost management, so that teams can accurately predict and track project costs,” Tooey Courtemanche, the company’s CEO, said in a release. “That’s why Procore is putting financials and cost management at the center of our platform. The benefit of integrated data through the Procore platform is that our financial management tools are seamlessly integrated with the rest of the platform, making tracking and predicting costs more efficient, mitigating risk easier, and making it faster for contractors to get paid.”

Along with new advanced forecasting to help contractors manage project risk, the Financial Management enhancements provide a new Flexible Work Breakdown Structure, as well as the ability to connect time and material tickets to change orders. The update also includes improvements to Procore’s ERP Connector Platform, which helps users seamlessly connect their ERP to Procore.
