Komatsu forklifts designed for big loads

By Rob Blackstien

Komatsu’s new FH100-160-1 series of forklifts include components and technologies from the company’s lines of wheel loaders, bulldozers and excavators, to bring a dependability and durability designed for high cycle/heavy load applications.

The forklifts feature a hydrostatic drive system, allowing for continuous shuttling with almost no wear on drive and break components, resulting in more uptime and lower maintenance costs.

With their high power and rugged build, these units are idea for construction, where heavy loads are common.

The FH100-160-1 models include an electronically controlled hydrostatic transmission (HST) hydraulic pump and motor system, thereby increasing operator control, minimizing power transmission loss, helping moderate fuel use and reducing environmental impact.
