Are you one of Canada’s Top Contractors?

With the next edition of On-Site Magazine set to feature one of our most popular sections, On-Site’s Top Contractors in Canada Report, we are asking for your help so that we can provide the industry with insights, trends and, of course, the eagerly awaited list of the largest general contracting companies in the country.

The report is dedicated to determining the leading general contractors in Canada’s construction industry, as ranked by revenue, and is also an invaluable industry tool that is based on direct research from the companies engaged in the Industrial, Commercial, Institutional (ICI), high-rise residential and civil construction sectors.

Forty (40) companies make the Top Contractors list; an additional five (5) earn recognition as the biggest with under 50 employees; and all qualifying general contractors receive a complimentary company business listing identifying their scope of work. The 2024 edition of this invaluable industry document will be published in the June edition of On-Site.

Company rankings are arranged by reported or publicly available revenue figures associated with work conducted within Canada. Participation is open to all Canadian companies as well as international companies who have a significant presence in Canada’s general contracting community. This should include a Canadian-based workforce and a physical office in an industrial or commercially zoned structure within Canada.

Revenues listed should be for Canadian work conducted between January 1 and December 31 of 2023, or in alignment with your company’s most recent fiscal year-end reporting (either ending in 2023, or prior to April 29, 2024).

When filling out your company’s survey, please include full contact information and confirm that all sector activities have been checkmarked as company listings will be published in our June issue, as well as hosted on our website. These listings will include contact information for your company, as well as your areas of expertise. Companies that do not provide a list of service offerings may only receive a basic listing for their company, so please checkmark all applicable services.

The company listings section is open to all General Contractors in Canada, regardless of size or revenues, so even if you do not expect to be in the Top 40, please fill in your company’s information as the free listings are an invaluable resource for owners, developers and other construction stakeholders looking to identify (and work with) Canadian contractors.

And please provide your confidential answers to the questions about the industry in the survey as these responses will be grouped together for the accompanying industry analysis that helps indicate prevailing trends in our sector.
