Quebec-based lifting equipment dealer Manulift is scaling up its operations in Ontario with a new operations centre just outside Hamilton, Ont.

The company said Sept. 26 it has opened the doors at the nearly $12 million facility that covers 30,000 sq. ft. The new site just off the QEW will serve contractors in the Greater Toronto Area working on building, tunnelling and public works projects, among others.

“The addition of Manulift Stoney Creek (Hamilton) to our facilities in Calgary, Montreal and Quebec City and our national distribution network will allow us to accelerate our growth over the next five years,” Martin Drolet, the company’s president, said in a release.
