Chris Greene has joined American Global Canada as the privately held insurance and surety brokerage firm’s vice-president of innovation and insights. He will be based out of the company’s offices in Oakville, Ont.
A forward-thinking construction insurance expert with years of experience and in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), Greene has a passion for technology that is matched only by his desire to develop and implement groundbreaking strategies, says the construction risk management firm.
The company says his expertise in data and analytics will further enhance its ability to deliver powerful insights for clients, while leveraging the digitization of the built world to reduce the total cost of risk in the construction and ownership of assets. As an advocate for the adoption of IoT (Internet of Things) and AI in construction insurance, Greene is expected to help American Global continue to revolutionize the role of the broker.
Prior to joining American Global, Greene served as vice-president of strategy, analytics and knowledge for the construction and infrastructure division of NFP, and previously worked at Aon for more than eight years, where he led Aon’s North American construction and infrastructure data and analytics team.
