Drumm named American Global Canada SVP

Marc Drumm has joined American Global Canada as senior vice-president to serve as the leader of the recently expanded insurance team. The company provides Canadian contractors with insurance services and solutions, and is headquartered in Oakville, Ont.
As a commercial insurance broker for more than 40 years, Drumm has a depth and breadth of knowledge that will prove to be a valuable asset to clients in Canada and abroad. While he has gained knowledge across a variety of industry sectors, his core focus has been the construction industry and all risk-related matters including contract review, large projects, Public Private Partnership (P3) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) insurance. Having worked on the insurance broking side of transactions, as well as within a construction firm, he is expected to bring unique insights and perspectives to both clients and prospects.
Prior to joining American Global, Drumm was senior vice-president, construction and onfrastructure practice at an international brokerage and consulting firm. Previously, he was the insurance/risk manager at one of Canada’s largest general contractors. As an insurance broker and advisor, he worked on a multitude of prestigious projects including several multi-billion dollar infrastructure and transportation projects, as well as numerous hospital/healthcare and courthouse facilities, among others.
