The Hilti powder-actuated fastening tool DX 2 covers a wide range of applications including attaching kicker plates to concrete; fastening sill plates; attaching drywall to concrete; fastening electrical cable holders to concrete; attaching chicken mesh to concrete; and, fastening wood to concrete and steel. For overhead applications such as acoustical ceiling suspension using pre-tied wires, a pole tool assembly for the DX 2 is also available. With a fastener range of ½”- 2 ½”; 2 – 7/8” (with pre-mounted washer) this tool provides powerful, reliable performance and the ability to access narrow spaces.
