The Hyundai Series 9 compaction rollers product line includes four single-drum models designed primarily for soil and aggregate compaction. All models offer 360-degree visibility for the operator. The single-drum compaction roller models feature fuel-efficient and reliable engines throughout the lineup including a Perkins engine for the HR70C-9, and Deutz engines on models HR110C-9, HR120C-9 and HR140C-9. The single-drum models are available as a smooth or pad-foot surface. The optional pad-foot kit is designed for easy installation. Hyundai’s unique HA control delivers a continuous tractive effort at the axle and drum for automatic adaptation to various soil types and conditions. Dual frequencies and amplitudes provide two levels of vibration for efficient surface and deep soil compaction. The single-drum roller models range in horsepower from 84 to 140 (61.5 to 103 kW), in operating weight for smooth-drum configuration from 15,652 to 30,644 lb (7 100 to 13 900 kg), in drum width from 67 to 83 in. (1,700 to 2,100 mm), and in gradeability without vibration from 45 to 50 degrees. All Hyundai Series 9 compaction roller models are designed with serviceability in mind.
