PCL Constructors names new director of business development

Olynyk holds a mechanical technologist diploma from Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology. He is a LEED AP, and a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt professional.

Terry Olynyk is the new director of business development for PCL Constructors Canada, Toronto district office.

In this role, Olynyk will focus on business development and strategic growth. He will manage district business development, including market research, planning and relationship management.

“Terry is an accomplished builder, leader, and strategist,” said Todd Craigen, PCL Toronto senior vice president and district manager. “I am confident in his ability to influence a culture of innovation that will help PCL shape current industry practices to create long-term success for PCL, as well as our clients and partners.”

Olynyk has over 25 years of construction experience. He joined PCL in 1998 and has served in various positions, including district building systems manager, Integrated Business Unit (IBU) manager and senior construction manager.

Olynyk led the launch of Renewable Energy IBU in 2011, which generated over $700 million in new work in Ontario, according to PCL. Most recently, he has led PCL Agile.
