Looking to reinforce its commitment to ethics and compliance, SNC-Lavalin hired David Wilkins as its chief compliance officer.
Wilkins’s career includes overseeing ethics and compliance at the Dow Chemical Co. since 2008, serving as general counsel of Union Carbide Co. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Dow), and acting as vice-president and chief diversity officer of the American Red Cross.
Reporting to Robert Card, president and CEO of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., Wilkins begins at the Montreal position on March 1. He will officially succeed SNC-Lavalin’s current chief compliance officer, Andreas Pohlmann, on June 1 following a transition period. Pohlmann will then move into a consulting role, with a focus on ongoing World Bank compliance initiatives.
