TORONTO—Several months after promoting a pair of internal executives to its top leadership and beginning an expansion into British Columbia and Ontario, Chandos Construction Ltd. has shored up its ranks in Canada’s most populous city.

The Alberta-based contractor said Feb. 4 that it has appointed three new team members to help head its Toronto operations.

Greg Stack, an executive with 35 years of experience in Toronto, will take over as the company’s area manager. Chandos said Stack has expertise in project delivery and has spent the majority of his career with Kenaidan Contracting.

As director of construction, meanwhile, the company has tapped Joe Perry, formerly of EllisDon. Perry has 20 years in the industry and experience on projects such as CIBC Square and the Sault Area Hospital.

On the legal side, Chandos said Ellie Choi has joined the company from Travelers Canada, where she was vice-president and counsel. The construction law and risk management expert will take over the same position at Chandos.

Along with the new appointments, the company said existing team members, President Tim Coldwell and Vice-President of Strategy & Innovation Markku Allison, have relocated to Toronto as part of the construction firm’s expansion across the country.
