Wirtgen introduces new 3D control system for slipform pavers that make string lines obsolete

Among a range of new products, Wirtgen introduced a new 3D control system at the Las Vegas show that make setting up string lines unnecessary. Designed for slipform pavers, AutoPilot 2.0 can produce any kind of offset and inset profiles also creating a digital data model on-site. Applications include making concrete safety barriers, curbs and traffic islands.
