Revamped dozer

The new Cat D9T dozer features a Cat C18 ACERT engine, which meets Tier 4 Final/Stage IV emissions standards and delivers 436 net hp at 1,800 rpm. High torque rise of 36 per cent enables the dozer to power through tough material. The D9T is designed with a high-efficiency cooling package, advanced electronic controls for the power train, as well as a quieter cab with enhanced information monitoring, and safety and serviceability refinements. It also includes many of the same features from the previous D9T model, including a durable mainframe with cast steel main case and a pivot shaft that transfers blade loads directly to the mainframe. www.cat.com
