Max USA Corp.’s rebar tying tool continues to evolve. Nearing its third decade on the market, the latest iteration of the lithium-ion-powered TwinTier can form 4,000 ties on a single charge.

With the ability to tie from #5 on #5 to #9 on #10 rebar, the RB611T is able to tie the largest type of rebar for a battery-powered tool, the company says.

Particularly useful for contractors facing a shortage of labour, the tool takes about half a second to form a tie, using its dual wire-feeding mechanism. The TwinTier series also uses less wire per tie than older tools because of its wire pull back function.
