Komatsu has added to its lineup of excavators factory-equipped with intelligent Machine Control (iMC).
The company said last month it has extended the tech offering to its 165 horsepower PC210LCi-11, giving what’s now the smallest excavator equipped with iMC a series of advancements that help operators to get grade quickly while preventing overdigging. The system also helps close the gap between new and experienced operators.
Among other features, iMC includes bucket angle hold control, letting operators perform finish grading using just arm input, and auto tilt bucket control that lines up the bucket parallel to a slope, allowing the machine to perform finish grading without aligning the excavator with the target surface.
