Kobelco is bringing a new version of its two-in-one excavator/dozer to North America.
The equipment maker said the ED160BR-7 Blade Runner includes a number of power and speed increases, with an improved digging force of 24,800 pounds and a Tier 4 Final engine that delivers roughly 10 per cent more output.
On the dozing side, the ED160BR-7 includes a six-way large capacity dozing blade as opposed to a standard excavator backfill blade. Kobelco says the added functionality makes the machine “ideal” for site prep and slope grading projects.
In-cab a Grammer air ride suspension seat comes standard. A 10-inch colour monitor is optional.
Kobelco is also offering a four-year, 4,000-hour factory warranty with KOMEXS Telematics on the upgraded ED160BR-7.
