John Deere’s G-Series of compact track loaders are being outfitted with improved, more durable rubber tracks.

The equipment maker said the tracks, introduced earlier this month, have a new arched roller path that helps shed debris and improve the life of the tracks.

“Machine uptime and durability are critical for owners and operators, and we are committed to providing our customers with proven solutions that are designed with their needs in mind,” said Austin Verbeck, aftermarket marketing manager for John Deere, in a release. “When updating the rubber tracks for the G-Series compact track loaders, we focused on key areas. From updated manufacturing processes to the reinforced steel cord, the result is a durable solution that is built to power through any job site.”

Along with the upgrades to the tracks, Deere also rolled out a new warranty option for CLTs this December. It runs over 18 months or to 1,500 hours, whichever comes first.
