Bridgestone Americas recently debuted its new V-Steel Z Traction (VZT) construction tire, the company’s latest 25’’ product for loader and grader applications. Designed to maximize tire life and help reduce total cost of ownership, Bridgestone says the VZT features advanced tread compounds that are engineered to help improve heat, cut, and tear resistance.

A new tread pattern design also aims to improved traction over earlier generations, with low-angle centre block and self-cleaning wide shoulder groovers for wet, muddy surfaces, and challenging terrain. The sidewall shape and protectors are also engineered to help minimize damage and enhance defense against tears and cuts.

“With jobsite productivity top of mind for construction operators, the VZT is engineered to help deliver enhanced tire life and keep construction sites moving,” said Rob Seibert, president of off-the-road products for Canada and the U.S. at Bridgestone Americas. “When coupled with our engineering solutions portfolio, Bridgestone can help job sites get the most out of their products.”
