Nors Group acquires Great West Equipment

Nors Group is buying Great West Equipment, a construction and forestry equipment dealer, and one of Volvo Construction Equipment’s major representatives, in British Columbia and the Yukon for around $150 million.
Nors, which entered the Canadian market with the acquisition of Strongco in 2020, now has combined Canadian operations that include 37 branches and more than 750 employees, covering more than 80 per cent of the Canadian market. Worldwide, Nors has more than 4,200 employees, with annual revenues of more than $4.1 billion.

Great West Equipment currently has around 250 employees spread across 11 branches in Canada, representing such globally recognized brands as Volvo Construction Equipment, Madill, Metso, Sennebogen, Falcon, and others.
