Leeswood reaches substantial completion on sprawling DSV warehouse in Milton, Ont.

Nearly two years after breaking ground, construction crews in Milton, Ont. have reached substantial completion on a sprawling new logistics facility at the northeast end of the fast-growing city.
The 1.1 million sq. ft. (102,000 square-metre) site will serve as both a distribution hub and Canadian head office for Denmark-based DSV Panalpina.
The office portion of the facility opened earlier this year, and crews recently reached substantial completion on the wider build, according to design firm Ware Malcomb, which was the architect of record for the project.
Leeswood Construction served as the general contractor for the site, starting work in November of 2018.
The facility is largest of its kind in DSV’s global network and includes a multi-client warehouse, state-of-the-art logistics capabilities and temperature-controlled compartments.
