Graham Construction celebrates 90 years
2016 marks a significant year for Graham. Founded in 1926 by Philip Wigglesworth Graham, the company is celebrating 90 years of construction excellence across its 13 offices with more than 1,300 salaried employees.
“Throughout this year, we’re not only acknowledging our enduring client and partner relationships but we’re also thanking our employees for their dedication and commitment over the decades,” says Grant Beck, president and CEO. “We’re afforded the privilege of delivering industrial, buildings and infrastructure projects across North America – projects that transform and shape communities. I’m just as proud of the projects we deliver as I am of our employees for their steadfast contributions day in and day out.”
To date, offices across the organization have held numerous client and employee events marking the 90 year anniversary. From BBQs to cake parties, Graham employees, clients and workforce partners are getting into the spirit and celebrating. At one particular event, Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi attended the annual Graham Stampede BBQ for employees, clients and partners; an event that was all the more special with the combined 90 year celebration.
“There’s a lot to celebrate,” continues Beck. “Through the decades, we’ve continuously worked towards enhancing our expertise and expanding our service offerings. Now, 90 years later, we’ve grown to be a leading, fully-integrated construction solutions partner in North America.”
