B.C. contractor Jacob Bros opens new head office, maintenance facility in Surrey

SURREY, B.C.—Jacob Bros Construction has opened a new 50,000 sq. ft. office and maintenance facility in Metro Vancouver.

The mid-size contractor, which works on both building and infrastructure construction, celebrated the official opening in Surrey, B.C. April 26.

The five-acre site will house the company’s headquarters as well as a maintenance facility.

Formed in 2008 by a trio of brothers, the contractor has worked on a long list of projects, including the high-profile rebuild of Vancouver’s Granville Street and upgrades to the city’s False Creek Seawall.

Jacob Bros now employs about 400 workers during peak periods. Along with the Surrey site, it operates a satellite office in Langford, B.C., just outside Victoria.
