TORONTO—Pomerleau Inc. is looking to increase operational efficiencies and improve its construction processes through a new partnership with Procore Technologies Inc.

The U.S.-based technology firm said June 19 that the Canadian contractor will use its construction management software to help “future-proof” its business.

“We really wanted to eliminate data silos and at the same time, make sure the agility for which Pomerleau is known is upheld,” said Eric Lessard, chief digital officer at the Quebec builder in a release. “We are looking forward to a lasting and rewarding partnership with Procore.”

Attempting to streamline its tech stack, Pomerleau cited Procore’s open platform and its ability to collaborate with various other technologies as two of the key reasons for the move, according to Procore.

“Choosing Procore as a partner speaks to the amount of trust in not only our current offering, but in our capacity to innovate and support the Canadian business in the long term, allowing Pomerleau to continue adapting to the ever-evolving face of construction in Canada,” said Jas Saraw, vice-president, Procore Canada.

The new partnership is one of Procore’s largest in Canada.
