MAPEI’s Mapeflex P1 FT, Mapeflex P2 NS and Mapeflex P2 SL are sealants and joint fillers designed to meet the requirements of ASTM C920. Mapeflex P1 FT is a high-performance, one-component, fast-track, elastomeric, moisture-cured, polyurethane sealant and adhesive. It offers excellent adhesion to most surfaces, and flexibility for moving joints. It offers high abrasion and tear resistance, and resistance to weathering. The sealant can be used for both interior and exterior horizontal and vertical applications above and below grade on concrete, masonry, brick, wood, steel, aluminum, painted metal, glass, PVC and natural stone.

Mapeflex P2 NS is a two-component, non-sag, pre-pigmented polyurethane sealant designed to provide a chemical cure. It can be applied to vertical concrete joints, on tilt-wall panels, precast joints, and sloped, elevated concrete decks.

As an elastomeric sealant, Mapeflex P2 SL can be used on concrete driveways, elevated concrete decks and sidewalks. It has properties that allow it to be two-component and self-levelling, as well as to provide a chemical cure. It can be used on traffic-bearing projects.

“Mapeflex sealants and joint fillers provide ease of application while sealing between construction elements, helping to prevent water ingress to the interior of the building, thus helping to prevent concrete corrosion and potential mould development,” said Kevin Smith, national sales director for MAPEI’s Concrete Restoration Systems.
