Liebherr to unveil Generation 8 crawler excavators in 2019

With an operating weight between 22 and 45 metric tonnes, the Generation 8 crawler excavators from Liebherr will cover an engine power range from 163-hp to 299-hp. The initial launch period of the new series includes six models: the R 922, the R 924, the R 926, the R 930, the R 934 and the R 938. The crawler excavators will feature a hollow molded piece at the top of the boom, an optimized load curve and optimized positioning of the steps. The cab is equipped with a pneumatic seat with vertical and longitudinal damping, as well as a 7 in. high-resolution colour touchscreen. The machines will also feature a new layout of controls on main keyboard including common functions.
