Engine-driven welders

Lincoln Electric has added two models to its industrial Vantage engine-driven welder series. The Vantage 600 SD and Air Vantage 600 SD are each equipped with a Tier 4 Final Deutz turbo-charged, 64-hp TD2.9L4 engine. These Vantages produce 600 amps/40 volts at 60 per cent duty cycle and 575 amps/43 volts at 100 per cent duty cycle. Designed for heavy industrial applications such as construction, mining and pipe welding, both machines are engineered to handle a variety of processes: stick welding, TIG welding, MIG welding, flux-cored wire welding, and arc gouging. www.lincolnelectric.com
