A B.C.-based residential builder that specializes in wood frame and mass timber construction has adopted Procore Technologies Inc.’s construction management platform.

The U.S.-based software firm said Adera Development Corp. recently put Procore’s solution through its paces on its 179-unit Crest project in North Vancouver. Using the tool to share information with all project stakeholders, manage subtrades and monitor safety, the West Coast firm estimates it saved approximately $1,500 per unit compared to past projects.

“Agility is one of our core values. It defines Adera’s work over the last 50 years, and it will be part of our legacy for the next 50 years,” Rocky Sethi, Adera’s COO, said in a release. “As a company, we pride ourselves on thinking far ahead with every project we take on, so our partnership with Procore was a natural step that made sense and helps us work more efficiently.”

The Vancouver builder plans to further integrate Procore into its project management strategy, as well as put the software’s financial tools to use in the near future.
