On-Site Magazine contributor Jacob Stoller has been honoured for one of his latest efforts to instil a new generation of business leaders with the skills to boost profitability and empower employees through lean practices.

The U.S.-based Shingo Institute announced earlier this month that Stoller will take home the 2018 Shingo Publication Award for his non-fiction work The Lean CEO: Leading the Way to World-Class Excellence.

The book features in-depth interviews with some of the world’s best-known CEOs who use lean practices to reimagine their businesses, as well as the stories of some who have turned unconventional thinking into remarkable results. Written for both those inside and outside of the lean community, the publication looks at the defined set of core beliefs lean executives follow to ensure success.

Overseen by the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University, each year the Shingo Institute recognizes a publication that has a significant impact on operational excellence.
