With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to keep the focus pinned on remote work, Autodesk Inc. is taking steps to ensure construction teams remain as connected as ever.

The company rolled out an update to its BIM 360 construction management software June 22 that allows users to create and launch meetings from within the platform’s Meetings tool. Along with video conferencing, the free integration with Zoom Video Communications Inc. allows for screen-sharing functions for reviewing documents and other collaborative work.

BIM 360 is one component of Autodesk Construction Cloud, which aims to keep project teams connected from the design stage through construction and into the operations phase.
