Volvo introduces four-model rigid hauler series

Volvo Construction Equipment’s rigid hauler series consists of four machines: the 45-ton R45D, 60-ton R60D, 72-ton R70D and the 100-ton R1OOE. R100E offers high capacity and hauling speeds, a V-shaped body and hydraulics. It features an intelligent monitoring system and operator environment. The D-Series R45D, R60D and R70D are based on Terex Trucks TR-Series. Those models include updates to visibility and safety systems, along with Volvo technical support and branding. Volvo’s rigid haulers will enter the market in the second quarter of 2018, and will be sold exclusively through its dealer network.
