Volvo E-Series excavator features short swing, increased fuel efficiency

The Volvo ECR355E crawler excavator offers a short swing radius and a 180 kW Volvo D8 Tier 4 Final engine. The 35-ton machine features an electro-hydraulic system and X-frame undercarriage built with forged steel top rollers. ECR355E includes wide-opening compartment doors, greasing manifolds, anti-slip plates and a reversible cooling fan. Added options include: demolition packages, a dozer blade and two-piece boom, the Steelwrist tiltrotator with 360-degree rotation capabilities, the E-Series cab, standard side view and optional Smart View, displayed on an 8-in. in-cab monitor. ECR355E is also equipped with ECO mode, auto idle and auto engine shutdown features.
