Volvo CE high reach excavator offers versatility, power

From Volvo Construction Equipment, the EC750E HR excavator reaches up to 118 ft. high and is capable of handling up to 8,000 lb. tools. The machine can be reconfigured using extensions and different boom sets to become a multi-use demolition tool. It features the company’s hydraulic modular joint concept, which uses a two-pin hydraulic lock mechanism to allow the high reach to be changed to a digging configuration in less than an hour. The excavator also has a second hydraulic modular joint on the extension boom, allowing the angle of both the extension and the digging boom to be set between bent and straight configurations. A hydraulic extendable undercarriage allows for a 360-degree working range.
