Complementing its Mini Class of pavers, Vögele has introduced its smallest screed for tackling tight spaces, such as between streetcar rails or in milled tracks.
With a basic width of just 1.1 metres, the road paver manufacturer said the AB 200 Extending Screed can hydraulically extend to up to 2.0 metres. At 10 centimetres narrower than the existing AB 220, the paver can work precisely in extremely cramped conditions.
With the help of a specified system for width reduction the new AB 200 can also pave widths of just 0.5 metres. Bolt-on extensions, meanwhile, allow for widths of up to 3.2 metres.
