Skyjack’s TH Series telehandlers, which originally launched in 2015 are getting their first major design changes.
The equipment maker said a series updates to the line will focus on simplifying maintenance and improving reliability.
Key changes include a new high-pressure filter added to the hydraulic system to reduce the risk of contamination and greaseless bearings for the main boom pivot to reduce maintenance. The tilt compensation cylinder configuration on the telehanderls has also been updated to a dual cylinder setup to better distribute the load and improve reliability, the company says.
The upgraded models will begin rolling out in the third quarter of this year.
