The Schwing SP 500 stationary concrete pump is now equipped with a Tier IV compliant Caterpillar diesel engine. The CAT® C3.4B diesel is rated at 74.5 hp while providing durability and fuel efficiency. The SP 500 is a versatile machine with up to 45 cubic yards per hour output and 1100 psi maximum pressure on the material. The machine excels pumping grout, shotcrete or concrete. The twin-cylinder, all-hydraulic pump handles up to 1.5 inch aggregate with its six-inch diameter pumping cylinders operating through a 39-inch stroke. Sequencing the concrete to the pumping cylinders is the Rock Valve with proven reliability on Schwing’s largest concrete pumps. The Rock Valve cleans up faster using less water for high utilization on multiple projects in a day. Dual shifting cylinders provide positive valve actuation for smooth discharge. The open loop hydraulic system combines with the CAT® engine to provide all-day economy from the 20-gallon fuel tank. Schwing SP models can be provided as skid, truck or trailer-mounted units. A convenient control panel on the side of the machine includes switches for on/off, forward/reverse and hopper agitator. Electric power is also available. A cable remote is standard with optional radio remote control. www.schwing.com.
