Several new technologies, including a pair of industry-exclusive offerings have been added to the latest John Deere GPSeries Motor Graders.

The equipment manufacturer said customers can now take advantage of the Machine Damage Avoidance feature that prevents the moldboard from inadvertently contacting the tires, the cab steps or frame, and the saddle from contacting the table.

Additionally, Blade Stow and Auto-Gain for Cross Slope, two technologies exclusive to Deere, simplify operations with a one-button option to stow the blade and an automatic adjustment to the Cross Slope that eliminates the need for operators to make manual changes.

“Our customers challenge us to find new ways to incorporate smart technologies into Deere products. They are looking for solutions to help make equipment easier to run and more efficient,” Luke Kurth, product marketing manager, Motor Graders, said in a release. “These new features allow new operators to come up to speed more quickly, and all operators can take full advantage of the productivity of Deere graders.”
