New Ditch Witch trencher designed with operator in mind

By Rob Blackstien

Ditch Witch’s new RT70 ride-on trencher offers several features that will improve operator comfort and visibility, thereby making life easier for utility and fibre installations on challenging jobsites.

The trencher has been ergonomically designed to include an open layout with a 90-degree swivel seat, more leg room and intuitive controls. Improved visibility allows the operators to have a complete view of the unit to help increase their productivity.

Operators will further benefit by staying comfortable thanks to the RT70’s patented cooling fan.

“At Ditch Witch, we understand the challenges that electric and fiber contractors face daily,” said Steve Seabolt, product manager, ride-on tractors, Ditch Witch Organization. “The RT70 is compact and maneuverable, yet powerful. This new unit, with its unique features, will allow the operator to tackle tough jobs in tight conditions.”
