Several new in-cab updates from Mack Trucks are trained squarely on drivers to help with productivity, comfort and retention.

Earlier this month, the truck maker released updates to its infotainment system, introducing Apple CarPlay for Mack that lets drivers more easily make use of a range of iPhone features while keeping their eyes on the road.

“Drivers are the single-most important part of any trucking operation, and any features that boost comfort and productivity are key to recruiting and retaining them,” Stu Russoli, Mack highway product manager, said in a release. “With Apple CarPlay and our new seats, we’re helping customers put the best trucks out there to attract the best drivers.”

Along with the CarPlay update, Mack launched version 2.0 of its Premium Comfort seats for the Anthem, Pinnacle and Granite models.
