Liebherr is laying claim to the most powerful four-axle crane ever built with its new LTM 1120-4.1.
The manufacturer unveiled the new all-terrain crane at Conexpo earlier this year, saying the 120 tonne machine breaks into a performance class previously inhabited only by five-axle cranes.
The new model increases lift capacity by about 18 per cent compared to its predecessor and allows for its telescopic boom to be extended 217 feet (66 metres), or 10 per cent farther than the previous model.
Liebherr’s ECOdrive and ECOmode features reduce the LTM 1120-4.1’s fuel consumption and noise.
