John Deere expands SmartGrade excavator lineup

John Deere has expanded its SmartGrade technology by making it available on the 470G LC excavator. This model now comes with the 3D SmartGrade system factory-installed, designed to deliver increased productivity and accuracy.
The 3D grade control provides more precision to excavation jobs like digging trench or structural foundations, or shaping ditches or slopes. Being able to see real-time displays of distance-to-grade makes getting to final grade a quicker process, thereby allowing you to complete projects faster and more accurately the first time around.
“Like the rest of the G-Series lineup, the 470G LC excavator is productive and efficient from deep trench work to various site development projects,” said Justin Steger, solutions marketing manager, John Deere.
