John Deere adds SmartGrade to G-Series motor grader line

SmartGrade technology from John Deere is available for the company’s G-Series motor grader line. The Topcon 3D integrated grade control eliminates masts and cables from the moldboard. An automation suite is included with SmartGrade. The suite includes auto-articulation, blade flip and operator selectable machine presets, which allows an operator to activate multiple functions by pressing a single button. Up to three positions can be stored in the monitor.
