The JLG E18MCL vertical mast lift is designed for construction and industrial applications that require outdoor and indoor capable machines. Offering similar specs, the company’s E18MML model is more suited to finish and general maintenance work, as well as for cleaner indoor-only applications.
Featuring a DC electric drive system, the machines are equipped with long-running batteries that the company says offer twice the duty cycles of other competitive machines. Battery placement is intended to help machine weight distribution for efficient loading and unloading.
The lifts come standard with JLG’s load-sensing system that uses pressure to monitor the load of persons, materials and tools in the platform to ensure the machines’ capacity ratings are not exceeded. The company offers five different platform options, including extension decks and trays.
The machines are available with such additional options as ClearSky telematics for fleet maintenance and management, CleanGuard for leak containment and a USB charger and phone cradle to give operators extra conveniences in the platform.
The E18MCL’s platform height can reach 18-ft indoors and 13-ft outdoors, while the E18MML and the E18 with Stock Picker Package Option models offer an 18-ft indoor height. The E18 models offer a platform capacity of 450 lb. when equipped with the standard platform. The E18s weigh 1,900 lb. when equipped with the standard platform and are engineered with a zero turning radius and 30-per cent gradeability.
