Hydraulic breakers for tunnelling promise less wear, lower operating costs

From Epiroc, the SB 302 and SB 452 tunnel hydraulic breakers feature a stainless steel piston and press-fit, one-piece brushing locked by an additional pin. The tools include a collar and dust cover. Two restrictors are available to enable performance adjustments. Intended for scaling, tunnelling and underground mining applications, the models feature an exchangeable wear plate and heavy-duty retainer bars. The tunnel versions are suitable for excavators between 10,000 to 28,500 lbs. and standard underground scalers. Service weights are 690 lbs. for the SB 302 and 990 lbs. for the SB 452.
