Genie releases high-float booms for sensitive ground applications

From Genie, the S-80 high float (HF) and S-85 HF telescopic booms are designed for heavy-lifting tasks in sensitive ground conditions. The booms offer dual lift capacity of 600-lbs. unrestricted and 1,000 lbs. restricted. Both models feature automatic envelope control and a chassis tilt sensor, which allows operators to access different ranges of motion based on the chassis angle. S-80 HF has a 86 ft. working height with 68 ft of outreach, while S-85 HF has a 91 ft. working height with72 ft. 6 in. of outreach. The booms are equipped with a 74-hp engine and a 6 ft. dual entry or 8 ft. tri-entry platform with a side swing gate.
