To complement its SD Paver Range, Dynapac is rolling out a new generation of high compaction screeds.

Premiering the new V5100 TH E and V6000 TH E screeds at Conexpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas earlier this month, the company said the fully redesigned units are geared toward durability and serviceability. They’re also engineered to fit Dynapac’s noise level guidelines to improve on-site comfort.

The new TH E screed range is designed to perform on all layers and on every material. Dynapac noted the screeds have an integrated hydraulic pressure bar system to lower the paver’s fuel consumption while “providing perfect compaction values, combined with first class surface quality and even faster paving and less roller passes at the same time.”

“The new system not only adjusts the vibration RPM, but also adds hydraulic pressure up to 70 Bar (1015 psi) which pushes the pre compaction to the max,” the company said in a release.

Operators can control the screed through the main control panel, or with a remote. The V5100 TH E and V6000 TH E are available with working widths from up to nine metres (29.5 feet) while offering compaction values up to 94 per cent.
