The Foundation High Production Auger from Terex Utilities is designed to improve drill footage in a variety of soil conditions.
Commonly used for drilling construction footings, the Foundation High Production Auger has standard 1” flighting and optional extra-heavy-duty 1-1/2” flight. It comes with a square drive pilot bit for up to 12” diameter. The hex hub is available in 2-1/2”, 2-5/8”, or 3” sizes. The 1” flighting is solid welded to the stem, extending the full length of the stem to reduce bending. Welded bars on the outside of the flighting are designed to reduce outside wear.
The company also offers an Extreme Duty Auger designed for use in soil mixed with rock and boulders.
