Cat 814K wheel dozer features sound-suppressed cab, Tier-4 engine

The Cat 814K wheel dozer from Caterpillar features the company’s 248-hp ACERT engine and Load Sense Control Hydraulics. It offers four forward and reverse speeds and an upgraded cab design with isolated mounting and seat air-suspension. Two blade design options are available: the 2.84-m³ straight blade or 10.5 m³ coal blade. The dozer includes a touch screen panel, which displays data such as system temperatures, fuel use and machine hours.
