BOMAG 10-ft. CR 1030 pavers include upgrades to the operator’s platform. New dual swing-out operator stations feature the company’s Sideview technology, in which the seat and console swivel outward at four differing angels. An open-grate design on the platform floor is designed to provide the operator with direct line sight of the screed spreading augers. The pavers feature a 7 in. multifunction colour screen display at each console, providing fault messages for troubleshooting on the job as well as new blade-type toggle switches. A sound-insulated composite engine aims to deliver quieter paving, and the hood’s sloped design provides a clear view into the hopper form the operator’s seat. The pavers include a 260-hp engine on the wheeled machine and a 225-hp engine on the tracked machine.
