ASV Holdings Inc. is introducing a new track loader to fill the gap between the RT-40 and RT-65 in its current lineup.

The new compact RT-50 Posi-Track loader has an “industry-leading” performance-to-weight ratio and features easy transportability that make it ideal for a wide range of customers — from rental houses to construction contractors.

“The new RT-50 fits into a size class our customers were asking for,” Justin Rupar, vice-president of sales and marketing at ASV, said in a release. “We’re excited to offer the machine as an extremely versatile compact track loader for its class. The RT-50’s size and capabilities will make it very attractive to both existing and new ASV customers. It offers exceptional value to a wide range of industries due to its groundbreaking design and performance features, allowing operators to complete tasks in places other machines aren’t able to.”

The new loader has a 1,400-pound rated operating capacity and is light enough to be “easily towable” by a 1/2-ton pick-up truck or SUV.

With an innovative undercarriage, the RT-50 can operate more easily in rough environments and travel over obstacles like logs, stumps and rocks with a low chance of getting held up. Its narrow width also means it can get into spaces other loaders can’t.

The new track loader will be available for purchase next spring.
