The Alberta government has issued a request for qualifications for bidders looking to take on a project to build five new schools across the province.
Interested bidders have until Oct. 8 to present their credentials for the work in Edmonton, Langdon, Leduc and Blackfalds.
The province plans to deliver the handful of new high schools, which are bundled under Alberta’s Recovery Plan, using a single P3 contract.
Work on the ground is expected to start next fall and the schools open in September of 2024.
